It was so amazing to see 6 sewing machines neatly lined on the podium and 6 young ladies waiting to receive those machines and the certificates for the course they have gone through for last 9 months.
8th of October was the most important day in their lives. They underwent a stitching training for 9 months. Every day they go the center and there they learned all the traditional and modern stitching styles.

At the Empower4Life sewing center in the Kodada village, they begin their day with prayer, bible devotion and encouraging and praying for each other. Then their teacher sister Prasanna Kumari helped them to understand all the stitching utensils and importance of each instruments related to the stitching art. First of all she taught them on some rouged cloths and news paper.
Once they got their hand perfect on this rouged clothes and news papers, they are given with the row materials to stitch. By the 9th month they get perfect in their stitching arts and they qualify for the graduation.
Thus on 8th October 2012, 6 ladies qualified for their graduation. Cheryl and Ron from Vast Interiors Australia were also present on this auspicious occasion. In their presence, it was so wonderful to see 6 young ladies one by one coming on the podium and receive their certificates and a free sewing machine.
According to them, “We can now start our own business; this machine is a boon to us. We can work and earn money and improve our financial situations.”
Dear once every single financial helps you do and every prayers you make towards the development of these marginalised ladies, is and will be a great investment into their live in upholding and sustaining them to live better and dream for a better tomorrow.

NEW SEWING CENTER INAUGURATION

Kodad Village
Growth is always from the Lord. According to Bible, ‘there will be someone to plant the seeds, somebody will put fertilizers, somebody will put water and all together it is for the growth of the plant’.
Empower4Life Inc in partnership with Share and Serve Ministries in India is growing rapidly. It is making positive, life sustaining and transforming effects into the lives of many individuals and communities. There were many friends and well wishers who came forward and helped it to grow.
In the same chain, we are so grateful to the Cheryl and Ron from the 'Vast Interiors' Australia for joining such a life enhancing and sustaining programmes in India. On their visit to India in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, very gladly we could inaugurate the tailoring center in Kodada village.
The name of the tailoring center is 'Cherradan Sewing Center', for last two years this tailoring center was known as 'Sharon Sewing Center'.
On 8th of the October 2012, we enrolled 6 new ladies to the 'Cherradan Sewing Center'. They will be learning the skill for 9 months at Kodada center.

Shobhanapuram Village
Along with the inauguration of Kodada 'Cherradan Sewing Center', Cheryl and Ron has inaugurated the new tailoring center at Shobhanapuram village on 7th October 2012.
5 poor ladies have been enrolled for the batch of 2012-13. These ladies are from very poor background. They hope to learn these stitching skills and earn by themselves in the days to come. The only reason they want to join this center is to learn the skill and at the end they want to put up a shop and help their family financially.
They hope their dreams will come true through this center, their family life will change, and financial situation will be changed.
Please pray for both of these sewing centers. In the near future may the Lord bless these centers in enhancing, educating and transforming lives for the purpose of the kingdom of God.

Worship Hall Inauguration

God does not dwell in the man made houses, but he is closer to those who are broken hearted and of contrite spirit. He is with the lowly and humble in heart. But human needs a place for worship. The believers of interior villages of Andhra pradesh, India has the maximum need for a church building.

On September 24th, 2012, the team from Vijayawada and the team from Australia, led by Ps Peter had inaugurated worship halls in two villages called Koduru and A Konduru. ‘A Konduru’ village is highly inhabited by the people of Banjara tribes. They were in ‘must need’ of such a shelter. Earlier it was very difficult for them to gather together in rainy season and in summer. It was the same situation in Koduru village but now having their own worship is a great blessing to them.
Both Benjamine and Vijayarao and their churches expressed their heart felt thanks to the  CLC Numbucca Valley and Stuart Point church for their kind contributions and generous giving towards the completion of these construction projects. You can also participate in such life enhancing  and construction projects.
Your Every Little giving is a great investment in to the Kingdom of God and you will never regret that you did it.

Sewing Center: Update Report

After Joining the Empower 4Life Inc tailoring center in Kodad Village, Mnikyama is happy. She learned all the stitching here. If she hadn't come here she would have continued as a daily wagers for some of 100/- rupees per day. After learning the stitching she is working on her machine at home. Daily she earns 100 rupees. Seeing her plight E4L Inc decided to help her in providing a overlock machine and put up a small business.
The great efforts and financial support by Empower 4 Life Inc was successful on September 21, 2012, when, Manikyama was given with an over locking machine.  She can use this machine in a multiple way. She can do the normal stitching and overlock and other stitching arts with this machine.  According to Manikyama, “I am so happy for this machine, thank you Empower 4 Life and thank you Share and Serve, I am very much happy.”
Not only Manikyama, but the stitching center in Kodad is given with a new over locking machine and the group can run a small business with the help of that machine. Please continue to pray that God may bless her and the Group. May Manikyama and the center’s income may increase and she might be strengthened financially with this new multi user stitching machine.
